Maybe that’s why there’s so much emphasis on the usual things like takeaway and keeping your left arm straight. Sure these things are important, but if you’re still going to come over the top in your golf swing, and produce a terrible golf shot, what’s the use?
Why spend so much time and effort on golf lessons, or drills, or practice, if you’re just going to end up coming over the top…again and again and again?
It’s almost enough to make you want to quit this game.
Who wants to plunk down 50 bucks to play a round of golf, only to end up extremely frustrated, and maybe even a little angry, all because of a stinking problem with coming over the top?
Nobody! That’s who.
